Reference G. 0. C. Singapore's Cable No. 876 of

24/5/16, SCHMULLING was fined two hundred dollars by magistrate

here for conveying correspondence addressed Colonial Office,

Berlin. Correspondence carried was reports of medical expedi-

tion to Solomon and Admiralty Islands and seemed narmless.

SCHMULLING was allowed to proceed to Japan and America by order

of Colonial Authorities.
